Donji Ulići road: work to start “soon”
Work is planned on the 8 km road between Rijeka Crnojevića and Donji Ulići. The mayor says it will start “soon”, but no date has been confirmed.
In 2023 only 84 people lived here. The village is small, but it is very much alive.
A visitor sees the bridge, the boats and the bend in the river. This part of the site is about the people who live here, and for anyone curious about their lives.
At the 2023 census, Rijeka Crnojevića had 84 residents in 38 households. That is far fewer than it once had, and we do not hide it. But the village still has its boats, its restaurants, its wine and its fishing. In September 2026, more than 150 people took part in the first Rijeka doživljaja.
Here we follow what matters to the village. People and economy tells the story of who lives here and how they make a living. Projects and news covers the road, the national park, the old palace and the river itself, always with sources and without taking sides.
Do you live here and see something we got wrong? Tell us.
